Going, going … green: Saturday events aimed at reining in global warming

Worried there may be just 50 years left to cut the nation’s carbon emissions 80 percent, and that the federal government is off to a slow start to halt global warming, grass-roots groups in Greenfield, Buckland, Athol, Heath and sites around the country will be part of a campaign to ”Step it Up” with activities Saturday.
