Homeowners….How to Save $$$ on your Heating Bills & Make Your Home More Comfortable
Tuesday, Feb 17, 7:00 pm at GCTV studio
GREENFIELD, MA – Are your heating bills getting you down? If you own your own home, help is on the way. With new utility rebates paying 75% of the cost of making your home more energy efficient (up to $2000), now is the time to get an energy audit and invest. You will not only cut your heating bills, but also make your home more comfortable.
On Tuesday, February 17, Greening Greenfield Energy Committee (GGEC) is offering a free workshop for homeowners called “How to Save $$$ on your Heating Bill, and make your home more comfortable” at GCTV’s studio at 393 Main St in Greenfield on Tuesday, February 17 at 7-9 pm.
Two experts in the field, David Knowles and Marc Kaufmann, will talk about how a house works, what to ask for and expect from an energy audit, how to decide what to do first, and how to get the most out of your heating system or choose a new one. Homeowners and GGEC members Greg Crawford and Kris Walter will talk about their experiences while upgrading their homes.
The speakers will be followed by Q&A and refreshments. Take-home materials developed by GGEC will give you the resources you need to take action and sign up for an energy audit, or find the funds you need if you want to make deep upgrades to your home. You can also sign up for follow-up small group discussions and home tours, learn more about Greening Greenfield’s new 10% challenge, as well information on how to get up to 75% off on solar systems.
