March 24 A Convenient Truth. How the city planners of Curitiba, Brazil transformed their city over a 30 year span into a sustainable, thriving community, focusing on energy use, transportation, housing, recycling, and more.
April 7 Dirt. Tells the story of Earth's most valuable and under-appreciated resource, soil, from it's miraculous beginning to its crippling degradation. This film brings to life the environmental, economic, social and political importance of the soil.
April 21 What's on Your Plate? Two young girls from NYC address the many questions about how our food is grown, shipped, processed, packaged, etc. There will be a second showing of this film at 11:15 am on Friday, April 22 at the YMCA.
April 28 Follow-up panel discussion with our co-sponsoring groups to share ideas on how we can all be involved in moving Greenfield and our region toward more sustainable energy use and food security.
